One of the most beautiful buildings in Svitava with a unique lecture and concert hall was designed in the USA and built in less than two years between 1891 and 1892. It was the result of the efforts of the Svitava patron V. O. Ottendorfer’s efforts to elevate the cultural life of the town.
The Esperanto exhibition is located on the ground floor and maps the history and present of the Esperanto movement in the Czech Republic and abroad. There are exhibition panels, book displays, multimedia documents on the computer and also on an interactive touch screen.
